Mission Impossible?

I have been commissioned to make a double-bed sized quilt for a young man. He returned from Senegal recently, having brought back six big pieces of wax-printed fabric. Is this different from batik? I don't know. So, I do have an idea about what I'm going to do. He has expressed his likes and dislikes, including that he doesn't particularly want other fabrics added to the mix. I will post a photo when I'm done (after his birthday on August 16 so I don't ruin the surprise), but for now, I thought you might like to see the fabrics I have to work with. Fun, huh?
