"Fighting for Climate Justice", 

to be included in the COP26 UK Universities Network on 

Communicating Climate Risk Conference, London, November, 2021




This quilt, “Fighting for Climate Justice” depicts temperature data for Boston from the year 2019; each rectangle (one day) has two shapes representing the high and low temps of the day. Each month is one column, with January on the left. 

I chose phrases that point to the fact that we need to change our daily behavior so we are not just picking the “low hanging fruit” by recycling, buying recycled products, and composting. That won’t be enough. We all must educate ourselves continuously.


Made of commercial cottons and hand-dyed fabric.
